Our Trekking Vallée des Roses Maroc is a hiking experience that doesn't present great physical difficulty. It's also an opportunity to walk with friends or with your children while discovering the riches and cultural traditions of the Berbers of the southern Central High Atlas.

Detailed Itinerary – 8 Days
Accessible trekking through beautiful valleys and villagesMarrakech Arrival
Welcome at Marrakech airport, transfer to your Riad or hotel. This is your arrival day to settle in and prepare for your Rose Valley trekking adventure. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the vibrant city of Marrakech.
Marrakech – Tichka Pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley (326 km)
Departure around 8am, direction Tichka Pass (2260 m); the highest road pass in Morocco, with grandiose panoramic landscape. After the pass, the landscape becomes semi-desert of the great southern Moroccan south face. Lunch in Ouarzazate, then continuation to Kelaa de M'Gouna, before arriving in the Dades Valley with its beautiful kasbahs. Night in gîte accommodation. 7 hours of driving.
Dades Valley – Rose Valley (Tamgallouna)
Departure of our trekking from the Dades Valley by crossing several terrace cultures then we leave this beautiful valley for an arid landscape for 3 hours, finally we discover the beautiful green valley of M'Goun. Lunch by the valley at the village Ighrem Akdim, then again 1H30 of walking to reach the village of Tamgallouna. Don't forget to bring tennis shoes since we will be obliged to cross the river several times. Duration: 5h30 of walking. Elevation: 500m ascent and 400m descent. Night with locals.
Tamgaliuna – Almdoune Valley
We leave this very green valley with its beautiful kasbahs and gorges, to climb 300 meters towards the pass that leads us through a juniper forest to the Ameskar valley. Again a beautiful valley of Almdoune, with about a hundred houses in the form of kasbahs in rammed earth. Lunch in the Temtda valley, then continuation on a good and large path to the village Alemdoune 1700m. Duration: 5 hours of walking. Elevation: 400m ascent and 300m descent. Night in gîte.
Almdoune – El Quati Valley – Oleander Gorges – Boutghrar
We gently descend a valley of oleanders (plan to cross the gorges with sandals). Small gorges, but very exotic with its oleanders to arrive at the Elhout valley with its beautiful kasbahs. A large village with several beautiful houses. Lunch by the river near the village Aznag, we then cross after 1H of walking we will arrive at the village of Boutaghrar. Duration: 5H of walking. Elevation: 500m descent. Night in gîte.
Boutaghrar – Kalaat M'goun - Ouarzazat – Tichka Pass – Marrakech
After thanking our team of muleteers. Transfer by car. A short stop in the city of Kalaat M'goun; a city very famous for the rose festival that is organized every year, where we find shops that sell rose products. We continue the road direction Ouarazazat, then enjoying the sumptuous landscapes that the Atlas offers us. Arrival in Marrakech. End of our services for the day.
Marrakech Free Day
Free visit of Marrakech. Explore the famous Djemaa El Fna square, the souks, palaces, and gardens of this magical city at your own pace. This is your day to experience the cultural richness of Marrakech after your Rose Valley trekking adventure.
Departure from Marrakech
Free time, according to flight schedules, transfer to the airport. We can help arrange additional nights in Marrakech if you wish to extend your stay. End of our Rose Valley trekking services.
