Detailed Itinerary – 2 Days

Day 1

Marrakech – Imlil Village (1,740 m) – Toubkal Refuge (3,200 m)

8:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel or hostel in Marrakech. You should be ready by 7:00 AM.
We head towards Imlil, a picturesque Berber village located at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains, about 65 km south of Marrakech. Situated at an altitude of 1,740 meters, Imlil is the starting point for your trek.
Upon arrival, you will meet our team of muleteers who will take care of your luggage, food, and other essentials. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, we will begin our trek, passing through traditional Berber villages and the sanctuary of Sidi Chamharouch. At this point, we will have reached an altitude of over 2,400 meters.
We will take a picnic lunch prepared by our cook before continuing our ascent. At 3,200 meters altitude, we will reach the Toubkal Refuge, where you can enjoy a hot mint tea, a refreshing shower, and a well-deserved rest in preparation for the summit climb the following day.

Day 2

Toubkal Refuge (3,200m) – Toubkal Summit (4,167m) – Imlil – Marrakech

During the summer months, it is possible to sleep in a tent. Regardless of the season, the day begins early with breakfast at 5:00 AM, followed by the ascent starting at 5:30 AM. The climb lasts approximately four hours, mostly a steady ascent, with a short break halfway up.
During the ascent, you will be offered nuts, oranges, and water to keep you energized. Breathtaking panoramic views will reward your effort. Once we reach the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa, we will take a 45-minute break to admire the scenery, take photos, and celebrate this achievement.
We will then descend via the same path, returning to the Toubkal Refuge for lunch before continuing our journey to Imlil. From there, we will take you back to Marrakech, marking the end of an unforgettable trek.
We arrive in Marrakech at approximately 5:00 PM.
