Detailed Itinerary – 6 Days
Comprehensive program showing daily activities and distancesMarrakech – Imlil – Tizi Tamatert (2300m) – Tachddirt Village (2314m)
After breakfast in Marrakech, we drive to Imlil, where you'll meet the group and begin your hike up the valley. We'll head toward the Tizi Tamatert pass at 2300 meters above sea level, where we'll stop for lunch. Afterward, we continue our trek for about 14 km to the village of Tachddirt, where we'll spend the night either in a tent or a local hotel.
Tachddirt Village – Tizi Likemt (3550m) – Azib Likemt
The day starts with a long, gradual climb to Tizi Likemt at 3550m, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. After a picnic lunch at the summit, we continue our trek down to the village of Azib Likemt at 2200m, where we'll camp for the night.
Azib Likemt – Tizi Ouray – Amsouzart Village
Today's hike is relatively easy but long, passing through a variety of landscapes. We will trek to the village of Amsouzart at 1700m, where we will spend the night in a hotel.
Amsouzart – Ifni Lake
We will pass through several Berber villages as we make our way to Lake Ifni, located at 2300 meters. This is the only lake on Mount Toubkal, surrounded by rocky peaks. We will camp by the lake for the night, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains.
Ifni Lake (2300m) – Tizi Ouanoums (3650m) – Toubkal Refuge (3207m)
This is the most challenging day of the trek. We'll climb steeply to Tizi Ouanoums at 3650m, where we'll enjoy a picnic lunch and take in stunning views. Afterward, we descend to the Toubkal Refuge at 3207m, where we'll spend the night, either in a tent or the Toubkal shelter.
Toubkal Refuge – Toubkal Summit – Marrakech
We'll begin the day before dawn, trekking up a steep path to the summit of Jebel Toubkal (4167m). The views from the top are breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of the Atlas Mountains. After reaching the summit, we'll trek back down to the Toubkal Refuge for lunch before making the long descent back to Imlil. From there, we'll return to Marrakech.
